I have worked for Manhappenin' Magazine, a student-run publication at Kansas State University, for the past 3 years. I have been involved in photography, writing, designing and social media. For the past year, I have served on our executive team as Photo Editor. Below is some of the work I have done while on the team. Our team won Best Magazine All-Kansas at the 2021 Kansas Collegiate Media Awards.

The Staley School of Leadership Studies GIFs
The Ask: Increase engagement of students on the Staley School of Leadership Studies' Instagram account.
The Result: Using Illustrator and Procreate on my iPad Pro, I designed gifs for our PR team to promote on social media.
I uploaded them on Giphy.com and applied for a verified account so that students can share them directly from their Instagram account. The SSLS account on Giphy has surpassed 1 million views.
I chose Willie the Wildcat and one of the most popular professors at Leadership Studies because they are easily recognizable and beloved by students. I also designed the statue that sits outside of the Leadership Studies building on campus because it is iconic.
